Imbolc - Welcome The Light

Dear Yogis,

The beginning of February, we welcome and celebrate Imbolc, a Celtic festival marking the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Much like our menopause, it is a time of transition, renewal, and the awakening of inner growth. 

Let's brush the last of the cobwebs to the wayside as we prepare to receive the light.

February Offerings:

Indulge in a Yin-style deep stretch to help manage symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disorders, and loss of confidence. This session offers a journey into the depths of your mind, body, and spirit, nurturing introspection.

🦋 Monday, February 5th @ 3:00 pm - FREE Women's Circle: Menopause Symptoms Discussion

Come be a part of our monthly Women's Circle where we explore the many facets of menopause. No need to get ready in any specific way; just show up as yourself. We'll be using the book "36 Menopause Symptoms" as a guide. Depending on what the group needs, we might throw in a breathing or meditation exercise to tackle a specific symptom. Afterward, we'll have a short Q&A session. The circle is a welcoming and adaptable space, offering support and a chance for everyone to share their experiences

This month's theme: Loss of Confidence 🫣

It's not a coincidence that I chose this topic for our first circle together! In my experience of working with menopausal women in different stages, I observed loss of confidence as one of the most common symptoms. The myriad of ways it impacted their lives in small and bigger ways was universal. It was as if all the other symptoms led into this one, all-encompassing part of their personalities.Losing confidence can stop you from taking action due to fear of potential failures. This can lead to patterns of vicious cycles as you feel annoyed, disappointed, or frustrated with yourself, seeing it as a sign of failure and that you are not good enough. It is a serious and significant symptom leaving many women questioning themselves all the time and not recognizing themselves from one day to another.

Signs of loss of confidence:

  • Loss of self-esteem and self-belief.

  • Anxiety.

  • Excessive worry.

  • Nervousness.

  • Panic.

  • Fear of failure and feelings of being under attack.

  • Ongoing avoidance of situations and people that may challenge you.
