Dear Yogis,

What a wonderful few weeks it has been. October has brought some extraordinary moments, meaningful connections and a renewed appreciation for the power of coming together through practice.

🤎 OM Yoga Show - What an Experience!

My Bareface Yoga class at the OM Yoga Show was capped at 65 participants, with another 100 people waiting to get in! The crowd was so large that security had to step in to help manage it.

Haha! You would have thought we were selling hot cakes!

Yes, that's a lot of people wanting to learn face yoga. And if there was ever any doubt about the growing interest in this practice, I think we have our answer. (Yoga graduates, YES, I'm talking to you! Get your workshop booked in for Christmas season!)

Beyond the numbers, what stayed with me was the genuine curiosity and enthusiasm. People of different ages, backgrounds and experiences, all coming together to explore a practice that connects the face, body and mind. Thank you to everyone who joined me, waited patiently, practised and took the time to speak with me afterwards. What an experience!

🤎 November - A Month of Introspection

As the days grow shorter and the natural world begins to turn inward, perhaps we can take our cue from nature. In yoga, svadhyaya, the practice of self-study, invites us to turn our attention inward with curiosity and awareness. Not to withdraw from life, but to understand ourselves a little better, recognise what we need and make space for what truly matters. Introspection is about becoming more aware of how your body speaks to you, what we hold on to and what we might be ready to release. November offers some beautiful opportunities to explore this together.

🤎 Sunday 1 November | Bareface Yoga at Serenity Space

2–4 pm | In person

We'll be gathering at Serenity Space for two hours of Bareface Yoga, with a particular focus on the lymphatic system, acupressure points and facial lifting techniques. I'll be teaching you how to locate specific lymph nodes, explore key acupressure points and practise my Bareface Yoga techniques for a naturally lifted.

More importantly, we'll look at how to incorporate these techniques into your daily routine, because understanding what you're doing, and why, makes all the difference.

Two hours dedicated to learning, practising and giving yourself some well-deserved attention. The ultimate self-care practice, with a little more substance behind it.

🤎 5-8th November | Beyond Retreat

I am so looking forward to my Beyond Retreat. It's going to be EPIC! And I don't say that lightly. I know what I'm capable of creating. I know the care, knowledge and experience that go into these retreats, and I know what previous guests have said.

"BEST RETREAT EVER!"

Those words mean a great deal to me because creating a retreat is about so much more than putting together a timetable of yoga classes. It's about knowing when to challenge, when to support and when to give people the space to simply be. Beyond Retreat is deliberately intimate, allowing me to work closely with everyone and create an experience that feels personal, nourishing and genuinely worthwhile.

There is a New Year Retreat (maybe) coming soon!

🤎 21 November | Lymph Activate Workshops

Saturday 21 November | Live on Zoom

We'll be gathering in person to explore the lymphatic system and its relationship with movement, breath and wellbeing. The lymphatic system is a remarkable part of our body's natural defence and fluid-balance mechanisms, yet it's something many of us know surprisingly little about.

Through gentle, purposeful movement and practical techniques, we'll explore the location of the 12 key lymph nodes, how the lymphatic system functions and ways to incorporate lymph-supportive practices into everyday life. My intention is for you to leave with a clear understanding of how to stimulate your lymph nodes, what you’re doing and why, the importance of sequence and pressure, and the factors that can hinder lymphatic flow.

As I write this, there are just TWO spaces remaining.

🤎 MyoYIN  | Deep Myofacial Yin Workshop

Saturday 28 November | 4:45–6:45 pm

The Life Centre, Notting Hill, London

An essential practice for anyone seeking deep muscular and fascial release, with practical techniques to help you manage everyday aches, pains and tension confidently at home.

Release: Target stubborn muscular tension and restrictions in the fascia, improving mobility and easing areas of tightness.

Restore: Improve joint mobility, circulation and freedom of movement through targeted release techniques and mindful stretching.

Reconnect: Turn your awareness inward, observe the subtle sensations within your body and explore the connection between physical tension, emotions and your inner state.

🤎 November | Bareface Yoga Live Classes

I'm mixing things up a little this month on triple Goddess Yoga with a Tuesday evening class as I return from retreat. A chance to unwind at the end of the day while learning techniques that can become part of your regular self-care routine.

🤎 Tuesday 10 November | 8 pm - Bareface Gua Sha

An evening dedicated to exploring Gua Sha within my Bareface Yoga method.

We'll work with mindful techniques, gentle pressure and an understanding of facial anatomy, exploring how to use this traditional tool safely and effectively as part of your facial practice. We'll focus on releasing habitual facial tension, refining our technique and understanding how much pressure is actually needed.

🤎 Monday 23 November | Bareface Hands

Sometimes the most effective tools are the ones we already have.

Our hands.

This session explores the art of working with our hands through Bareface Yoga, developing sensitivity, refining our touch and understanding how technique, pressure and intention can change the experience of a facial practice.

Whether you're new to Bareface Yoga or returning to deepen your knowledge, you're very welcome.

🤎 For Yoga Teachers | Bareface Yoga CPD Training

Could Bareface Yoga Be Your New Teaching Niche for 2027?

If you're a yoga teacher beginning to think about how you might develop your teaching in the new year, perhaps it's time to consider something different.

Something that builds on the knowledge and experience you already have, while giving you a specialist skill that sets your teaching apart.

🤎 12 November | Bareface Yoga Level 1

An introduction to the foundations of my Bareface Yoga method, giving you an understanding of the techniques and the confidence to integrate face yoga into your existing teaching.

🤎 27 November | Bareface Yoga Level 2

For yoga teachers ready to build on their foundations, deepen their knowledge and incorporate crystal Gua Sha, this advanced training develops the skills and confidence to offer Bareface Yoga as a specialist practice. Expand your teaching repertoire, establish a distinctive niche and create additional income opportunities by introducing Bareface Yoga workshops into your existing teaching. And if you've ever wondered whether there is really a demand for face yoga… Remember those 100 people waiting to get into my class at the OM Yoga Show? I think that speaks for itself!

As we move towards the end of another year, I hope November brings you opportunities to challenge yourself, moments to be still and the space to reconnect with what matters. There is always something more to learn about ourselves, whether through movement, reflection or simply being willing to try something new.

I look forward to sharing practice with you, wherever we meet.

With love,

Sue Yen 🤎🤎🤎
