Joint Pain
During the menopause it is not uncommon for women to develop musculoskeletal symptoms experienced as pain, this is possibly due to the decline in oestrogen as it is an important hormone for bone and connective tissue health.
At the Triple Goddess Yoga we believe gentle movement and restorative practice along with breathing exercises can hep soothe your physical body and help reduce joint pain.
Bone Health
Osteoporosis is defined as a weakening of the bones. Many women may develop osteoporosis as a result of menopause and aging. The lack of estrogen, a natural effect of menopause, is causally related to decreases in bone density.
Remember, it’s never too late to start taking action for your bones - even after a diagnosis. A few simple exercises incorporated into a daily routine can help strengthen the bone density.

Legs Up The Wall
With the legs elevated up the wall, the mind and body gets a nourishing chance to slow down. The semi-supine aspect of the pose lowers your heart rate that elicits a relaxation response, and in turn, helps lower anxiety, stress and insomnia. Elevating the legs promotes drainage from excess fluid build-up, draining all the stagnant and tired energy away. Legs up the wall during one of our sound healing or meditation journeys, is an excellent way to rest and restore.
