At Triple Goddess Yoga our Yin and Restorative classes will activate the parasympathetic nervous system to bring a sense of calm, restoring you to a soothing ‘rest and digest’ mode.
WORLD MENOPAUSE DAY
🌍 On World Menopause Day, we practiced for this year's theme - Heart Health! 💓 This Yin Yoga class was extremely nourishing for our torsos, releasing tight backs and nurturing our chest space. This class addressed issues like irregular heartbeat, heart palpitations, skipped heartbeats, and irregular heart rhythm. Legs Up The Wall
With the legs elevated up the wall, the mind and body gets a nourishing chance to slow down. The semi-supine aspect of the pose lowers your heart rate that elicits a relaxation response, and in turn, helps lower anxiety, stress and insomnia. Elevating the legs promotes drainage from excess fluid build-up, draining all the stagnant and tired energy away. Legs up the wall during one of our sound healing or meditation journeys, is an excellent way to rest and restore.
